Amazon.com (AMZN) Nearing $400

Amazon.com (AMZN) made a new all-time high of $387.00 today (02013.11.27) before closing at $386.60. It will be interesting to see if AMZN hits $400 before 02013 comes to an end. At its current price AMZN's PSR (Price Sales Ratio) is at 2.49 and I consider that low.

[update::02013.12.04] AMZN hit $399.00 on 02013.12.02.

NASDAQ Hits 4,000

NASDAQ composite index opened yesterday (02013.11.25) at 4,004.37; hit an intra-day high of 4,007.09; and closed at 3,994.57. It was the first time the NASDAQ was above 4,000 since September 02000. Even at 4000, the NASDAQ is still well below its all-time high of 5,132.52 (intra-day high on 10 March 02000). I liked the following quote.
"It's taken 13 years to get back. It just shows the magnitude of that bubble we expanded back in 1999 and 2000." -- Jack Ablin of BMO Private Bank
